Project kickoff meeting

Last week the kickoff meeting of our PWO ROSdriven project was held at VIVES University of Applied Sciences.

We presented our research group Smart Mobility and our ongoing/ future research projects.

Furthermore, we clarified the PWO ROSdriven project goals:

  • Apply ROS in depth
  • Integrating / applying several sensors in ROS
  • Apply the ROS Navigation package on several vehicles
  • Create hands-on ROS courses
  • Setup a in-house delivery service on our campus with ROS

With a short demo on the Turtlebot3, we showcased the possibilities with ROS.

Lastly, the RBcar vehicle was presented. This vehicle will be used for the in-house delivery service.
